BytePane is maintained by a small team, and every message we receive is read and acted on.
The fastest way to reach us is by email. We use a single inbox for all types of inquiries and aim to respond within 24 to 48 hours on business days.
What we can help with
- Tool suggestions. If you use a utility you wish was available on BytePane, tell us. Most of our tools were added because a reader asked for them.
- Bug reports. If a formatter produces wrong output, a decoder chokes on a specific input, or a tool fails in your browser, please share the exact input and the expected output so we can reproduce.
- Feature requests. Options for additional input formats, command-line-style shortcuts, keyboard bindings, or export formats are welcome.
- Content and data corrections. If a reference page (HTTP status codes, MIME types, regex cheatsheet, etc.) has an error or stale information, send the citation and we will verify and fix.
- Accessibility. Reports from screen-reader users, keyboard-only users, and anyone encountering accessibility barriers are high priority.
- Privacy and security concerns. If you believe a tool is sending inputs off-device that should be local, please tell us so we can investigate.
- Partnerships and press. We are a small independent team; we respond to press inquiries and genuine partnership proposals when time permits.
What we cannot help with
- Paid custom work. We do not take paid custom development or consulting requests.
- Debugging your specific production system. Our tools assist with general developer tasks, but we cannot debug your company's infrastructure over email.
- Removing or "de-indexing" tools from search results. Our utilities are published for public use and are indexed by standard search engines.
- Guarantees about tool output for security-critical use. BytePane tools are developer conveniences, not audited cryptographic libraries. See our Terms of Service for details.
Response time
We read every message and aim to respond within 24 to 48 hours on business days. Simple questions and bug reports typically get a same-day response. Feature requests may take longer to acknowledge as we batch them into planning cycles. If you have not heard back in a week, feel free to follow up — email can be lost.
